It all revolves around satisfaction of the needs that we haveposted on 19 May 2012 in Internet RelatedDevices have been created that generate any kind of material and services that users want. The reason for this generation is to create a balanced environment for these users whose environments are not balanced because of the needs they have. It is only after the time that these needs are satisfied is when there is a balance that is formed. People search every day for ways of generating web site traffic for their websites because their website needs to be balanced too. The more traffic that a website gets the balanced it gets. Balance of any kind comes or becomes when there is a constant input of something. If there is no input then the balance will be disrupted. What is being put to balance is used by someone somewhere hence there is space that needs to be filled. This imbalance goes on and on until one gets used to the whole process. The repetition of this process makes life worthwhile because people have to make something out of their time that is worth everything they stand for. |

Precision at the Pensacola Post Offices Allows for Speedy Holidaysposted on 16 May 2012 in Business and FinanceThe thought of having to go to the post office during the Christmas rush is enough to make most people groan. And if you have an internet seller in front of you (whether they're selling personalised usb sticks, pashminas or whatever!), it can make the queue even longer. Many people have turned to gift cards to not only avoid the ever rising cost of shipping, but to skip those horrible lines as well. For some areas though, the lines seem to go with such precision, you would think the military stepped in to help. Here in Pensacola the post offices have seemed to figure out the order needed to operate efficiently during this stressful time. It is like watching a well choreographed dance, workers and customers moving so smoothly that wait times are at a minimum. Even the atmosphere in calm. Maybe it is just the Holiday spirit that causes everything to go so smooth. Perhaps it is simply that we perceive things differently at this time of year. More than likely it is just the fact that the weather has finally reached a cool enough temperature that everyone's moods have improved. Whatever the reason, it is a wonderful time to visit the various branches of the postal service in our area. |

A California Commuter Rants About Drivingposted on 13 May 2012 in Cars and TransportDriving is really so fun... I can understand why I had to wait until I was 21 to do it. Fun like this should be reserved for adults, yes, for adults whom you want to punish. My job sees me on the road much of the time - I'm in my van, decked out with its van roof racks and accessories (I'm a shop fitter) like these ones, and I hate to be on the road to tell you the truth. When I started driving, many years ago, no one told me how "fun" driving could be. First there is the joy of buying car insurance and the pain of dealing with insurance companies who want to see a lot of your money. Then there is the act of driving itself... long distances, when you don't have an idea about where you are going and have no way to find out. (I am, after all, behind the times still, driving sans cell phone or GPS. I am the master of U-turns. Yet I can't exactly say that I like driving under the influence of dyslexia.) Getting caught behind a large truck on on the freeway and missing your exit because you could not see it soon enough is fun. So is getting caught in rush hour traffic. Hmm, why do they call it rush hour traffic when you go nowhere very slowly? It took me an hour to travel to my destination on the freeway when it should have only taken me ten minutes. (So much for "Rush Hour"!) And, what about the gas prices? They keep on going up and up... (One hopes that they will go down and down but they say, "not yet".) And what about those pot holes? Some of them are really big fun! And those patches of road that someone roughed up for water drainage...When I go over them, I think that all four of my tires are on the way to flatsville. That's fun. And what about those cameras everywhere on the road that make you feel like you are being spied on by a peeping Tom? Unfortunately in this case, the "Peeping Tom" is the cop always about ready to come out and say, "Gotcha" by writing a ticket or by delivering it along with a pretty photo of yourself turning right on a red light a bit too fast...That is very expensive fun. (So many people are complaining about those tickets and there is mass paranoia about them in my area. One always thinks that they stopped... But did one stop long enough to avoid getting a ticket?) And of course there are the accidents that one sees on the road... They are reminders that driving is no E ticket ride. With all of this, is it any wonder that there are sometimes when all I can say about driving is:" Driving is so fun! Not!" More on this Topic: telegraph.co.uk | infoplease.com |

When it comes to accounts and money, security should be well establishedposted on 12 May 2012 in Business and FinanceThere have been scam problems and fraudsters who have been reported from paypal desk and they have caused us a lot of problems ever since. This is because as paypal users we are now afraid to transact money or deal with the account in any way because we do not wish to fall victims of prey when it comes to these reports. I for one has even had to confirm paypal account that I am using it still mine and there is nothing that has been changed more than three times in a month because I live in the fear of being a victim of fraud someday while i am sweating myself out there to make this money. Paypal has promised to work on this but still the security is not yet strong enough because people have stopped transacting their money for a while now, which is a big loss to the company. I guess I will keep on reconfirming my account so that when I am receiving or sending money I will not do it in the wrong way and I will avoid under all circumstances to be a victim of scam. |

Driving Pet Peeves: Winter Driving and Slow or Inconsistent Driversposted on 10 May 2012 in Cars and TransportI have a lot of pet peeves when it comes to driving, as I do spend a lot of time behind the wheel in my new vauxhall corsa The two worst things for me are winter driving and slow and/or inconsistent drivers. Winter driving frustrates me because even when the roads aren't bad, people see even a speck of snow and suddenly they have to drive excessively slowly. I'm pretty cautious driving when the roads might be bad, so if people are driving slower than I am, I usually get frustrated. On the other end of the winter driving spectrum, I also can't stand drivers who tailgate and or drive too quickly or recklessly when the roads are bad. I don't understand why people can't at the very least keep a little extra distance between cars when the roads are slick - it would help out everyone. My other driving pet peeve is slow or inconsistent drivers. Sometimes I think inconsistent drivers might be the worst - those that are slow one minute and flying past you the next. To me, that means that they're not paying enough attention, which worries me more than most anyone else. Slow drivers also frustrate me, but I try my best to be understanding and to not get too frustrated, since I'm sure they're going the speed that they feel most comfortable with. |

A List of Things That I Would Like to Change About My Houseposted on 10 May 2012 in Home and GardenThere are tons of things that I would love to change about my house, from the simple like adding a new chrome door knocker to the front door, to the more complex that involves building. I would LOVE to rebuild the bathroom. Get a nice tile counter, a new bathtub, maybe even put a TV in the bathroom so I can watch TV while I shower and also while I am taking care of business. It would be nice if I could re-do my kitchen too. Get a nice tile counter, a new stove, some clever and tasteful decoration, you know, the whole 9 yards. I would like to get a new TV in my living room and hook it up to a Blue-Ray player and a nice surround sound system. Some new carpet would be nice as well. As far as the backyard, I would like to put some new liner in the pool that I have. I could also use a nice wooden fence in my backyard so that my dog can go outside without supervision. |

Email Marketing Only Works If It's Targetedposted on 9 May 2012 in Internet RelatedWorking for an email marketing consultancy, I can see that email marketing is a great way to reach a wide and interested audience however, it’s important to recognize that even though your audience will get the email it doesn’t mean they will read it. Good email marketing will show your customers a product or service they are interested in, but in a way that encourages them to either learn more about it or choose to buy into it right away. Wide-reaching or “SPAM” emails rarely do this job well. Because people can receive hundred of emails a day, the information someone receives must be as closely related to their interests as possible to even stand a chance of being opened, never mind read and considered. If you have information on the person the email is being sent to this is even easier to customize if you can adapt the message to compliment past purchases they’ve made your email is going to be much more effective than a generalized advertisement in another medium. If you can manage to master that personalization, email marketing can reach way more people than traditional forms of marketing that rely on more limited distribution because they can be sent quickly and virtually cost-free to millions of people at once. |

The Way to Save that Works for Meposted on 9 May 2012 in Business and FinanceToday things are tight and managing your money is hard for just about everyone, whether you have 10 people in your family all working 2 jobs each or 1 person working one, it's rough for us all. My husband is in the Navy and I am a stay at home mom of 2 so we have certainly lived on a tight budget for the last few years. We live off of one paycheck splitting it between two households. The only way we can manage to save is take 10% out of every check we get and immediately put it into a CD savings account. The kind you cant touch without penalty. That way it is a process to actually get to your own money. We work with what we have from there out creating a budget for the pay period. Bills always come first, We try to pay more than the minimum if the budget allows on debts, then groceries and from there less important things. Every budget I make I try to leave a buffer of money at the end that is allotted to nothing. If we need it, its there if we don't use it then it can go into savings for a rainy day. We do what we can to use coupons, buy in bulk and any way we can save money. This is what works for us. I hope maybe it does for you too. |

Effective Ways to Market Your Business Without Using the Internetposted on 8 May 2012 in Business and FinanceThere are many ways that you can market your business without the use of the internet. While the internet is widely used by a vast number of the population, it’s hard to get your ad in just the right spot so that appropriate clientele will see it. Some great ways to market your business are, going to local stores and asking them to allow you to advertise in their store. Some places even have bulletin boards especially for this purpose. Consider also ad vans as you have mobility there. Another option would be to go to a public place, say your local grocery store or college, and place a printed brochure or flyer under everyone’s windshield wiper. This will ensure a wide range of people are exposed to what your business is and what you’re offering. While many may be just thrown away immediately, that’s okay, because it’s the people who will use your service that will hold on to that information. Using bright coloured paper is a great way to grab everyone’s attention. If you have a bigger budget for marketing you might also consider placing an ad on your local television channel or local radio station. High Quality and Well Crafted French Reclamation Productsposted on 8 May 2012 in Home and GardenBack in the Victorian era and early twentieth century many fine quality items were produced in France. This was the era of craftsmanship and a tradition of creating high quality, well designed and beautiful items that were built to last. This goes back to the days when household or agricultural items were relatively expensive by today's standards and therefore were expected to be well built, long lasting and durable. In addition, with the French history for 'style' these items were also expected to be well designed and were often beautiful and ornate. Today, we accept that items bought today can have a limited life span and are not expected to last our lifetime on many instances. However, by recycling, renovating or upcycling these old French antique and French reclamation items it is often possible to create stylish, desirable items for today, yet still enjoying the fine cratsmanship of days gone by. |

Fiscal Management: Keeping Up with What You Earnposted on 6 May 2012 in Business and FinanceOn the first of each month, many people try to figure out how they will be able to keep up with their financial responsibilities, myself included. The key here is to avoid all the nasty realities of falling into debt - while there's a lot of help with debt - from debt consolidation sevices to financial advisors, prevention is better than cure! From investments e.g. sipp commercial property to saving money, there are many ways to make more of your money. Little things can really make the difference in keeping your bills lower, or help you not overspend. First of all, I have all my bills paid up automatically via a standing order from the bank. Therefore after my paycheck is deposited, I am through with a big part of my financial responsibilities and now I know what is left for personal expenses. Next I try to figure out how much I need for grocery shopping, which I do twice a month. What is left is for my entertainment, and hopefully a part will be deposited at the bank for emergency times, or vacation. In saving money, I try to make sure that every electrical appliance is switched off when I leave the house. T.V. should not be in the stand-by position but turned off completely. A big energy spender is the air conditioning which needs to be carefully handled and use a fan after the room is cooled down. One other well known technique to keep your expenses lower is go for products that are promoted through discounts or coupons. Especially those who offer more product for the same price, or those who are "buy one get one free". |

Even a Boring Day at the Office Has Its Perksposted on 6 May 2012 in Business and FinanceI have a rather boring job. I get leads, I enter data, I answer phones. Occasionally I am called up to help an elderly co-worker fix their email, search for "the Googles" or to unplug and plug back in the coffee machine. All in all, it's a lackluster existence. However, I'm very good at what I do. I solve those problems instantly! I type a whopping 90 WPM! I am the dominating force of my mundane role. As a result, I get a lot of spare time. I've used that time in various ways - once I took a prince2 foundation exam which only confirmed to me how many changes are required in my office. I also use this time in other ways...I can play tiddly-winks with a coffee mug, I print funny pictures out from the internet and hang them to my cork board, I shoot rubber bands at the ceiling tiles. I enjoy a bit of music with headphones, I'll even switch the regular coffee for decaf when I'm feeling mischievous. All in all, even a terribly boring job has its perks, depends on where you look! |

Great Toys That I Loved As a Small Totposted on 5 May 2012 in Toys and GamesWhen I was a little girl, I used to have a lot of toys that I enjoyed playing with. I think my favorite of all my baby toys was a story book that my dad bought me. It had buttons that I could push, and it would play music, make sounds and read to me. I loved that book! I also had a xylophone that I could hit with a stick, and it would play music. I would spend hours banging away on it, and annoying my family. But they let me go, because they knew I loved it. As I got older, I had a Bop-It, which I would play with obsessively. I was always determined to beat the game, and I would play, and play until finally I got disgusted with it, when I couldn't win. I also had a GameBoy Advance, which I thought was the coolest thing, and a Totally Angelica game which I loved to play on it. It would amuse me for hours on long car rides, and even though I had completed the entire game time and time again, I would still want to play it. And despite being a girl, I'd spend many an hour driving my remote control truck around the house. My dad even joked that one day I'll become a trucker. I will always remember these toys, and the good times I had playing with them. Hopefully, someday, I will be able to buy my kids toys that they will love just as much as I loved the ones I described. |

My Unique Garden in the Skyposted on 3 May 2012 in Holiday and TravelI always wished for a house having a small garden, and perhaps an ornate garden gazebo too. As time passed by, I slowly realised that I will not find such a beautiful house, given my dire financial circumstances. I always looked enviously at those home and garden "getaway" programs on TV featuring such wonderful french farmhouses and the like - the idyllic garden with so many colourful flowers growing there. How could I realise my dream? However, one day an idea entered my mind. I climbed to the roof of our house, and made a decision that I will bring soil to the roof and make a small garden there. I brought soil from a distant area from my house in buckets. It took me days to fill the roof with six inches of soil. After that, I broke my piggy bank and invested in a roof garden! I brought seeds of different flower plants. After sowing the seeds I watered the soil. In a few days the seeds turned into plants and after some months I saw those plants rising high! People living nearby appreciated my idea. When the spring came there were a lot of different colors of flowers waving, singing and dancing. More on this Topic: wisegeek.com | investopedia.com |

How I Learned to Stop Worrying and Shop Onlineposted on 3 May 2012 in UncategorisedI am a master of procrastination, and shopping for gifts is no exception. It’s particularly bad around Christmas, when my shopping obligation goes from maybe one or two people a month to everyone all at once, while also balancing university finals and overtime at work and a million other holiday-related obligations. Even at my best, with ample time to shop and vague gift ideas, I’m not the greatest at choosing gifts – and the conditions around Christmas just make things worse. I always find myself wandering aimlessly through the mall, half-heartedly looking into stores as though the perfect gifts for my family and friends will be surrounded in a Jesus-like halo beconing me in to purchase them. This usually leaves me frantic the week before Christmas settling for mediocre gifts just so I have something I can put under the tree. This year, for the very first time, I discovered the joys of online shopping. Where before I ended up with gifts that were kind of what the recipient wanted, now I could order ridiculously specialized things that were not only perfectly suited for them but also (almost) guaranteed to be unique - be it swarovski crystal animals or bespoke jewellery - and have them delivered right to my door without fighting through throngs of other desperate shoppers. Besides, everything looks better sitting at home in pyjamas with a cup of coffee and ANY music other than the mall holiday soundtrack. |

I Don't Know How My Account Got Openedposted on 1 May 2012 in Arts and EntertainmentIf you are in trouble you always look around for someone to help you. Similarly when I had difficulty in logging into my Facebook account I began searching for a helpline. Facebook has become an essential part of our life because it helps us to be in touch with our friends and relatives whom we don&rsquot meet often. It is a wonderful site because it helps us share videos and pictures of any events that we attend. I remember when I got married I had put my wedding pictures on facebook to share it with my friends who could not make it. But the other day when my account did not open I began searching for the facebook helpline. After finding it on the net I sent a mail to the customer support explaining the problem but I did not get any reply. Luckily the next day I found that I could log into my account without any problem and I was very happy. It&rsquos just impossible to remain out of touch with Facebook even for a day. |

Child Found Due To Help Line Operatorposted on 22 April 2012 in Arts and EntertainmentCarrie worked for facebook as a help line operator.  She worked the midnight shift and was constantly amazed by how many people were up at that time of night.  She would never forget the night she was able to save a life, not her typical job duty.  &ldquoFacebook helpline.&rdquo  She answered the phone call as she usually did.  What came next would stop her in her tracks.  &ldquoYes, I need your help.&rdquo  The woman on the other end of the line sounded like she had been crying.  &ldquoHow can I assist you Ma&rsquoam?&rdquo  &ldquoMy daughter is missing and I don&rsquot know what to do.&rdquo  Carrie wasn&rsquot sure why the woman had called her and not the police.  However, she motioned for her supervisor and put the call on speaker.  She then prompted the woman to continue.  &ldquoShe is only fourteen.  She disappeared this afternoon on her way home from school.  The reason I called you is that I found an odd message in her facebook account and thought you could help me.&rdquo  Carrie asked the woman to tell her about the message while her supervisor contacted the police on the other line.  The supervisor informed the police of the situation, where the woman was calling from and that the conversation with her was being recorded.  The woman kept talking stating that the man, who called himself Charles Chase, had sent a series of messages to her daughter.  He had apparently been talking to her daughter for some time.  In the last message he sent her, he let her know he was ready to &ldquotake her away&rdquo.  That message had been sent early that morning.  Carrie let the woman know that the local police had been contacted and should be at her home in a matter of minutes.  She also informed her that they were currently searching their database for any user with the name she had given.  When they found him they could give the police his information along with the IP address the messages had been sent from.  With this information the police would be able to track him down.  Hopefully this would lead to finding her daughter.  The facebook staff was able to find the man and forwarded the information they had to the police.  A few months later Carrie received another call from the same woman.  The lady identified herself and stated she wanted to tell Carrie thank you.  With the information they had provided and the information the police were able to obtain, the girl had been found.  She was now safe and sound back at home.  The mother was very grateful for the calm and compassionate way Carrie had handled her call.  Carrie was glad they had been able to help the police find the woman&rsquos daughter in time. |
